Why would someone under 18 years of age need physical therapy? There are many reasons! Active youngsters who participate in a wide variety of sports may develop overuse injuries that occur from improper form or poor balance and coordination, or may need our treatment to recover from surgery due to an injury. Birth defects, developmental conditions such as cerebral palsy and other muscle diseases are treatable under the care of our experienced physical therapist.
Working with a youngster’s pediatrician or other healthcare provider, we conduct a thorough evaluation before developing a treatment program tailored to their needs. Our clean, state-of-the-art facility is equipped to provide pain reduction and rehabilitative services for children of all ages. We employ highly effective holistic, drug-free methods of encouraging recovery through heat and cold therapies, massage, ultrasound and/or electrical stimulation. We’ll help your child gain flexibility, coordination, range of motion and strength to increase their ability to perform everyday activities or return to the sports they love.
