Here you will find state-of-the-art equipment and expert physical therapists trained to deal with your sports rehabilitation needs. Whether you have tennis elbow, a bad knee from a ski accident, foot pain from running, or any other sports injury, we are ready for the task!
Accidents and injuries are common with any sport. That’s why our therapists are trained in sports medicine and understand what it takes to be an athlete, both mentally and physically. Along these lines, our services are geared towards getting you back in shape. This includes a combined approach of strength training, cardiovascular work, and stabilizing exercises with the goal of getting you back to your favorite sports as soon as possible. We provide comprehensive services for athletes that allow you to stay conditioned and work through your injury.
We treat every patient individually, and depending on your fitness level, injury, and goals, we will design a program that’s right for you. Typically this process begins with a comprehensive exam and evaluation. Here we will assess your injury and talk with you about your sports goals. From there, we will work with you to create a program that is appropriate and adapt it as you gain strength to ensure you are ready to return to your sport.
This is a common question, as we know our athletes are eager to return to the field or court, etc. There is no one-size-fits-all answer. We tailor the program to you based on your need. This includes accounting for the type and severity of the injury, how much time has passed since the injury (as earlier intervention is most beneficial), the intensity of the regimen, and how you are feeling about it along the way.
At the office of Nevada Rehabilitation Centers, we’re dedicated to providing the highest quality of skilled and compassionate care. For more information on our office and the many services that we provide, give us a call today.
