Meet the Team

Dr. Ian Yamane

Founder & CEO

Dr. Ian Yamane grew up in San Diego County, California. His affinity for chiropractic began when he was 11 years old after being diagnosed with scoliosis.

His parents employed a holistic, non-invasive approach to Dr. Yamane’s treatment and was treated by a chiropractic doctor, rather than utilizing traditional medical approaches of casting, bracing and surgery. Following an intense treatment regimen, his scoliosis was resolved. Because of this personal wellness experience, he was determined to become a chiropractic physician himsel. Dr. Yamane earned his chiropractic doctorate in 1993, graduating with honors from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has practiced in Las Vegas since graduation.

Governor Kenny Guinn recognized his innovative spirit and integrity, and appointed Dr. Yamane to the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada in 2002. Dr. Yamane served on this regulatory board for 8 years, ending his final term as President of the board. In gratitude, he was awarded the “Pillars of Regulation” by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards.

Dr. Yamane is married to his best friend, Deborah. They have 4 children and love spending time together as a family. He is immensely involved with serving in his church and community.

Dr. Casey has lived in Las Vegas since the Beatles were a new sensation, has attended an original performance of the Rat Pack, and was there when Evil Kenievel jumped and crashed at the Caesars Palace fountains. He was raised in the casinos and eventually started working in them. After years of working the Pit, he determined that a change was needed in his life. He decided that he would like to do something to help people. He decide to be a Doctor. And when he thought about becoming a Doctor he realized that of all the Doctors he had been to, only Chiropractors were the ones who hadn’t harmed him, and had made him feel better without prescribing him a lot of drugs. So he went back to school and worked nights until he had his Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology.

He then left Las Vegas and traveled to Portland, Oregon to attend the University of Western States where he earned his Doctorates in Chiropractic Medicine. He then returned to Las Vegas to care for his family and friends, with a unique perspective of casino and hospitality workers injuries and ailments.

Dr. Casey is trained in Diversified Chiropractic technique, meaning that his training incorporates many different chiropractic styles and philosophies. Dr. Bakir loves the dry heat of the desert as well as all that Las Vegas has to offer.

Tracey – Office Administrator

I have worked at NRC since 1998.  I started as a back office chiropractic assistant, worked front desk and then moved into management.   I love chiropractic and how it helps people feel better.  A lot of our symptoms come from pain from our spine being out of alignment and with chiropractic adjustments we can feel better without masking the pain with meds.  I also believe in keeping your spine maintained for overall wellness just as you get your teeth cleaned.  The doctors and Team at NRC really are awesome, ethical and truly care about  patients.

When I am not at work, I love to spend time with my husband, kids, mom, friends and dogs.  I have 2 grandchildren that I adore and love to spend time with!  Being a grandma (Nama) is awesome!   I also love to play golf and sew!

Linda – Medical Records

I have worked for Nevada Rehabilitation Centers for over 11 years.  It is wonderful to work with great doctors who have high ethical standards. Chiropractic treatment has helped me over the years in general and with some of my health issues.  I love reading and spending time with my grandchildren.

Michelle – Billing

I have worked in chiropractic’s for 13 years and have been with Nevada Rehabilitation Centers for 10 ½ of those years.  I am very lucky to be with Nevada Rehab Centers because we do have the best doctor’s and are probably one of the very few ethical practices left in Las Vegas by far.

I believe in chiropractic’s and the benefits and healing it promotes.

Terri – Massage Therapist

Paris – Massage Therapist

I graduated from the European Massage Therapy School in July of 2015. With the excellent guidance of a few of my favorite teachers, I’ve learned the techniques of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology massage to name a few, and learned about energy and how it affects everything.

I love to help our patients feel better, release their pain and help their bodies relax beneath my fingers. This is what I love to do! Working closer with people was the my ultimate goal when I realized my hands are my greatest machines in helping others achieve wellness.

People don’t often realize how important massage is because it’s usually seen as only a luxury; luckily it’s being more incorporated medically and my joy is witnessing how it’s affects more than the body, but truly the mind and spirit as well!

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends, family and pets, writing, music, and Batman. I’m also slowly learning Italian!

Erika – Chiropractic Asst

I have been working for NRC as a Chiropractor Assistant since September 2012. During this time I have enjoyed learning about health and the human body, as well as improving my techniques so I can effectively help my patients.

Chiropractic care has helped me have an understanding on how we can help people become pain-free using highly effective techniques such as spinal adjustments, physiotherapy and rehab exercises to reduce muscle spasm, alleviate joint stiffness and restore normal range of motion.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and creating new memories.

Jess M – Chiropractic Asst

I have worked at NRC since 2016. I love how Chiropractic helps heal the whole body by assisting the nervous system to function correctly.  I had allergies in High School until I started to get Chiropractic adjustments. Now I’m allergy free! I love spending time with my wonderful  husband and two sons and watching my favorite TV series.

Natalie – Receptionist

I have worked for NRC since February 2017.  My love for Chiropractic stems from the patients. Whether it be from past injuries or from a car accident, the treatment received provide the patients with relief they so desperately need. I am happy to work with a great team that patients are happy with!

Chiropractic has really helped me understand that so much pain can be relieved through adjustments & therapy. So much is connected to the back that other areas get relief as well in the process.

My favorite hobby is arts & crafts. Creating things gives me great happiness. From comic collages to birthday signs to custom letters. I love DIY projects & love to give them as gifts, for me it has more meaning then something store bought.

Miriam – Chiropractic Asst

Miriam has been working as a chiropractic assistant for NRC since Oct 2007. She’s in the office to assist with therapy and care to help provide total health and wellness for each individual. She was originally attracted to chiropractic care because of the countless benefits to the human body. Miriam is very passionate about holistic and natural healing. She is grateful to work with a team that strives to promote these healing options to the people of the community every day.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her daughters, and when able, she enjoys a family trip to the California beaches and theme parks.

In my spare time I enjoy DIY projects, reading, watching movies and listening to music.I enjoy spending time with family and friends and creating new memories.
